The sun shone, the crowds came. We connected, shared and celebrated and I think we answered the question - Glasgow can definitely be a National Park City!

It can be easy to get bogged down in challenges. Working away with tight budgets, limited resources and many challenges. Sometimes even we have to question: can this simple idea - of Glasgow as a National Park City really make a difference? Together can people really create a Greener, Healthier, Wilder Glasgow for everybody?
Last weekend I think people came together and emphatically showed we can!
At the heart of the international National Park City movement is a belief that there are many, many of us who share a vision of a Greener, Healthier, Wilder future - and that working together to connect and share ideas, to promote amplify and celebrate success, and collectively aspire for that future - we can make a difference.
So an enormous heartfelt thanks to everyone who played music, gave talks, ran activities or just came along to the Hidden Gardens last week. It was so fantastic to re-connect with old friends and meet many new ones. We look forward to working with you all to make Glasgow a National Park City.
